Terms of use
Last updated 15 October 2026
//EYERUS puts public information on one map so people can see what’s around them. These terms are the deal for using it. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Not for emergencies. Data here can be minutes old, incomplete or wrong. If someone is in danger, call 911. Don’t rely on //EYERUS for navigation, safety decisions or anything where a mistake could hurt someone.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
2. What //EYERUS is
The site gathers information that government agencies, volunteers and open networks already publish: traffic cameras, crowd-mapped plate reader locations, aircraft and ship positions, dispatch calls, scanner audio, wildfires, weather and earthquakes. We don’t own that information, we don’t check every item, and sources can change or stop at any time. Features marked Beta are still being improved and are more likely to be incomplete.
A plate reader on the map is a location reported by OpenStreetMap contributors, not a claim about what the device does or who runs it. A dispatch call or scanner recording is an unconfirmed early report, not a finding that anything happened or that anyone did anything.
3. Acceptable use
Use //EYERUS to stay informed and to explore. Don’t use it to:
- stalk, harass, monitor, locate or follow a specific person, or help anyone else do so;
- track a specific vehicle, vessel or aircraft in order to confront, intimidate or harm the people in it;
- interfere with police, fire, medical or rescue work, including going to an active scene you learned about here;
- plan or commit a crime, or evade lawful enforcement;
- scrape, bulk download or resell the data, or hit the service with automated traffic beyond normal use;
- probe, attack or get around the site’s security, or access another person’s account (if you find a vulnerability, report it to us instead; good-faith reports are welcome);
- break the terms of the agencies and networks that publish the underlying data.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report threats of violence to the authorities.
4. Your content
The things you save and your settings are yours. We use them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can download or delete them at any time.
5. Pro plan
The map, camera pictures and safety layers are free. The optional Pro plan adds the features listed on the pricing page for $5 a month or $48 a year, plus any sales tax shown at checkout. New accounts get Pro free for 7 days; no card is needed and nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends.
- Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from the account menu (“Manage plan”). You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, or if we stop offering Pro, in which case we’ll refund the unused part of your period. If something went wrong, email estweakbox@gmail.com and we’ll make it right.
- Changes. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a price change, and it takes effect at your next renewal.
- Features. Pro tools may change as the service improves; we won’t remove the core of what you paid for during a paid period.
6. Third-party content and links
Camera images and video, audio, photos, news headlines and links belong to their owners and are shown under those owners’ terms (see data sources). We aren’t responsible for other sites you visit from here.
7. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop features, sources or the whole service. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
8. Disclaimers
//EYERUS is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of //EYERUS won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or the data in it. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
10. Indemnity
If you use //EYERUS in a way that breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may end accounts that break these terms. Sections 8 to 12 keep applying after an account ends.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem informally. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
